NOW 447nm CNI lasers & GB #11

Still waiting for my 589 here Glenn... Any status on it and any others still pending from here?

THE RETURNS CAME IN TODAY, I'LL TEST WHEN I GET HOME!

sorry so busy, All these seemed to be doing very well in my tests... the 50 mW 589nm is to be in the mail tomorrow 4/5/11, and my measure was typically 75-90mW, the rest were already sent out... :) -Glenn

Got my 589 today Glenn, but it's a little underspec right now: I'm getting a 41mW average, and only 46mW peaks. I think I might've let it sit a little too long warming up before testing it, so I'm going to try again, but at least it's very stable. And the colour is sweetness, a very warm orangey colour. :D

EDIT: Just ran a 4-5 minute test with the laser, measuring it constantly. Got up to a peak of 49mW, with averages in the 45mW range during that point once it was fully heated up. It takes a while to get up there, but stays there for a good minute or two before starting to come down. Tested with AW 2600mAh rated 18650 batteries.

At least it is working. My first one was up to spec on a good day. The replacement was over spec at first. Then it barely came on at all. I have it packed to send back. Just haven't made it to the PO yet.

Hmm, was yours a PGL-III-C? And how many times did it run overspec before dying? And how long? (worried about my overspec ones now)

It's the M in my sig. It wasn't even overspec by much, maybe 5 to 8mW. It didn't even get warm so I don't think heat was the problem. I'd say I turned it on 10 to 15 times and it wasn't for very long.
