Would like to know where a i can find group buys, i actually want to bye Lasers in group 2.

At the moment im searching a 500mw-1,5watt green Laser.

Is it possible to get a dot as Beam ?
wich goes far in the distance ?

My Artic 3,5W doesnt go in the distance, impossible to point things at 2-5 km

I want a green one with incredible range beam.

Can i ask thoose questions here or must i open a new threat ?

I have to understand how it works here, cant even post photos atm^^

Welcome to the Forum Tristan...
Make sure you have appropriate Laser
Safety Goggles/Glasses especially for
your High Powered Arctic. Be safe.

Enjoy your stay...

You can go to the Buy/Sell/Trade section
of the Forum to see what is available.

Why do you need to send a Laser Beam to
a distance of 5 km ???

Welcome and be safe. As mentioned, safety glasses for sure. Welcome again and be safe :)

Welcome! :)

Looks safety glasses have already been mentioned. Take a read over some of the stickies anyway if you haven't done so already, lots of good safety advice in there. Lots of other good advice too.

Why do you need to point at things 5km away?

Ordered 2 Safety glasses with my Artic, always wear them when iam in a Room, outside i dont wear them..

Iam much traveling and hiking in the french Alpes, sometimes i have to show where we want to go, isnt possible with an Artic..

4-5 a visible beam with a dot at the end, is that setup possible ?

Hope my english is good enouth :)

I don't think you'll see a visible dot at 4-5 thousand meters no matter the setup. Your english is fine.

You're going to have a hard time unless you're operating at night, or at the least, twilight/dusk.

Probably better just to point and describe the location as has been done for likely thousands of years.

I like that use so much. Rep+.

You might consider high powered 532 nm for great beam specs of DPSS, but they are temperature sensitive and more fragile compared to 520 nm diode laser. Green is also better for day visibility. Peak is around 555 nm for human eye. In night it is more blue shifted. Still I'm afraid 5 km is quite a lot. You might get beam expander for that. But still not sure. In night it could work IMO. I need to try it.

Edit: Look for Jet Lasers.

Welcome and use safety goggles for eyes and safe laser operating procedures --that comes before all other considerations.

Be carefuil ouside many things you don't think of as reflective are very reflective of laser light. Puddles, ice a lot of things.
All it takes is less time thean the human blink reflex of 0.25 seconds to do permanent occular damage and or cause blindness--especially at 3.5W of 445nm.
Accidents happen so fast there is no chance of making any correction to avoid the accidentonce in progress.
Use goggles even outside is safest --everyone thinks and/or imagines they are 100% safe and "golden" hit in the eye as the result of an accindet.
Accidents are called accidents because they are not what was anticipated. 3.5W is and extremely dangerous laser.

Ty all for your comments, quite happy to see soo much peoples in this forum :)

Going to buy me an beam Expander for that Artic i got.

I have 1 more question, is it normal that this 3,5 watt laser drain my 18650, 3200Mah in like 20Minutes ?

I have much high Lumen torches here with 3500+ Lumens

But this laser drains even faster, is that possible ?
