i like how the ribbon looks and wouldn't it be easier to wire it like that. Now every where i go I'm constantly looking for cases. So many nice ones in music class. :-X

It would be a bit easier to wire it like that, the cord type 25 pin connectors are a pain in the butt to figure out which wire goes to which pin, I had to sit and test each one individually when I was wiring with one.

how about tuning the scanner. How bad would it be with a sound card dac and scanpro 20

You can tune the scanner according to the DAC . theres instructions here on how to tune the scanners.

adams tutorial is GREAT, i highly recommend it! and you dont tune your scanners to match your dac.

you tune your scanners to look good at certain speeds.

ilda standard is 30kpps and as long as your scanners are at least 30k then you tune to 30 if they are 40 k you still tune them for 30k

for 20 k scanners you tune to 20

but you only tune your scanners when the ilda test pattern isnt up to par

WHY CAN'T THEY PRE TUNE THEM.IT LOOKS HARD AND DANGEROUS.(opps caps on)
