It looks to be true, but it is for the 5mW version... seems alot for a 5mW laser as you can get a 200mW green from rayfoss for $150

If the host quality is as good as the evo pro, i'd buy one at 99$.
But considering the price that it's actually sold, I woulnt.

5mw for this laser is pointless in my option though. Maybe a 100mw minimum.
I mean the executive pro starts a 20mw lol.

There's a good chance that the modules aren't directly interchangeable, but with a bit of modification you could probably get it to work.

Well I think they use the same modules that you can find in lower power models, because creating a specific module size would be to pricy. Even if you change the power of the diode. A lower power model does not need a TEC and can use smaller optics and a 5.6mm diode, which all means to a smaller module.

Maybe thats why the 5mw is so pricey.

I've always thought Wicked was high priced but figured that part of that price was the stunning custom made host they designed. :drool:

This sadly proves that the host is not what is causing the high price its just good old fashion price gouging. Bad Wicked....Bad Bad :spank:
