I'm an artist. I'm not really into the pointer part of the hobby, but I do like to incorporate lasers into my art. But the place I live in is so small I dont have the room to really do any hands on mechanical art. I like Steampunk too, and most of my projects are based on that art style. Hopefully one day I can get some space to finish a project or two.

Oh wow, my degree is in applied business in graphic design, I'm into 3D design and modeling and digital art/painting, in my website in my sig, I created those syringes (they are the 2nd or 3rd slide) what kind of art do you do? Got any links?

Only verbally.

I just grabed random smillies from different web sites for examples. This is the only forum I frequent.

Oh, I thought pornhub had a forum as well?

j/k :)

EDIT , firehost blocked the devil smiley

I dont post any of my art. I dont like the idea anyone can just grab it and use it to make money. Even copyrighted ideas can easily be ripped off.

I have some top 3D design programs, but i never got around to learning it. An old friends brother was doing 3D graphics for some video game developer, and was showing me some stuff, and I picked it up quick. He was even going to get me a job, but I was partying so hard at the time I missed my opportunity. I'm more of a pen and ink guy anyway. I like doing illustrations the most.

Here is an avatar, and banner I did for a member here.

And some banners for a couple of companies.

I did some more, but cant find them for some reason.

Anywho, they are far from top notch, just some expamples. That horse head design took the longest. I had to hand sketch it, then digitize it.

Nice!

thats a mutual feeling for me with the copyright

I mostly use Cinema4D and 3dsmax, I want to work for pixar one day ;) but im a huge fan of painting, I just never get around to painting as much as I want, here's the last one I did, the first one I did at art school, then I gave it to a girlfriend and broke up with her and lost it. So I used the painting to re-create it. I don't know if I like it as much as my original though

Really nice work. I like the color transitions. Total nightmare. My art is dark too, for the most part.

I've done some painting, and the subject was always clear, but my colors never really flowed the way I'd like. Obviously some training is needed. Also I used cheap paints, and its hard to get the desired effects with cheap paint.

What I'm really good at is stippling with ink. But it takes forever, and I'm lazy now. Tomorrow I'll look around for something small to post. I dont have a scanner though, so the picture quality might not be there, but you'll see the detail.

I did tattoos for a while too. But people always wanted stupid shit, (clovers, butterflies, cougar heads, ect) and it really turned me off. I wanted to do major art works, and they wanted cartoons. I noticed I was starting to hurt people on purpose, so I gave it up.

Thanks,

I'd like to see what you've done. I love painting with barely anything in the brush and be rough with it to make shading, every painting I do I feel like I get much better. Dark art just speaks to me more, feels more real/having alot of emotion.

I had one guy who already had one on one arm, and he wanted to do another different one on the other. It was the worst tattoo I've ever done. If I can dig up my tat album I'll post a picture.

reminds me of this:
WAAAAAAY too much meth.
