New O-Like 200mW 532nm module.

If the new ones turn out to be legit and STABLE I believe I will purchase one and actually have a powerful green. I do not consider my V75mW powerful by any means.

is there a preferred host for the o-like modules? i'm thinking about buying one of these modules but I'm stumped on what to put it in

Just visit Jayrob and Likeitbright's profiles for links to their 532nm module host kits / builds.

I have reviewed one of Jayrob's kits as well as Likeitbright's work and they are both first class. Last but certainly note least, talk to daguin. If you're lucky enough, he may have the time & desire to put something together for you... ;)

You can check out reviews of their work here:

Has anyone gotten their orders or heard anything about these modules? I e-mailed Susie about these a couple days ago and still haven't gotten a response back. They have been out of stock for a while. I don't know what's up.

The tracking number shows that mine left China a couple of days ago. I haven't checked for a couple of days. I live in Southern California. I am not at home (where my tracking number is) to check now.

Peace,
dave

**EDIT** Mine left NY today (Aug 2)

I though O-Like would fly merch across the Pacific, not across Europe and the Atlantic and then the US. Seems like much more of a hassle, especially for someone in California. You should definitely make a review of the module once it arrives. I hope they go in stock again soon.

I got mine yesterday. It is stable @ 190mW. (1 on - 2 off - 3 cycles - fully charged rechargeable CR123). I installed it into my personal Kryton (JayRob green module conversion) last night.

I am very satisfied for $135!

DX is still showing "waiting on supplier" for the 200mW module from them

SCHWIIIIIINNNNNNG!

Peaqce,
dave

Nice!

Hey Dave, did my heatsink just fit right on there? I mean, it's the same size module as the others correct?

Yeeeeeowsers, Amigo - now THAT's a green module! When you get time, feel free to comment on beam quality, etc (maybe a picture or two...) - that'd be great!

@ Jeff -- Sorry. I didn't measure it. I was NOT surprised at the look of it, so it is not "visually" significantly different than the 100mW O-Like I had before.

@ Jay -- Everything, swapped right over. I'm going to need another "heat sink" ring for a Kryton Groove now though. I'll build my old module into a new host (or I may do one of the new "mini's"). I'll PM you ;)

@ BrewCity -- I have several things up in the air right now. I probably won't get to this, this weekend.

Peace,
dave

No problem...

You'll have to send me the mid section of the barrel like before, because it has to be drilled out so the module can slide through for the green mod shown here: (in case anyone hasn't seen it)

Or if you go with one of my new Mini Green kits, you just have to first make sure your module can be modified to an overall length of only 49mm max.

Susie's 50mW modules will work, but the higher powered ones are going to be too long for the tiny Stainless steel host I think.

Hopefully that DX 200mW module will be able to fit!
