Hey guys, as many of you have noticed I have been selling off my laser gear here lately to fund my astrophotography hobby. Last night was a new moon so I went out with my cameras and took some pictures. Yall let me know what you think. Also, on the picture with the one star can somebody ID that? I was looking for Andromeda but I may have missed it. Either that or I really cannot go any further without an Equatorial Mount. Most of these were taken with my new Ultra Wide Angle 10-20mm Sigma lens.

------------

Anyways, thanks for looking guys! I am having fun in this little hobby! There is something fascinating about being able to take pictures out of the window to the rest of the universe. Any questions just let me know.

Thanks,
Isaac

Nice man, I wish I lived far enough from a large city to be able to take pics like that.

I envy your view of the night sky. Though admittedly I did have one really clear night where I could see the LMC, even in the city. It was pretty cool.

Thanks guys :) It was a lot of fun! Now I have too many cameras though so I am selling two of them to buy more lenses and maybe an equatorial mount so I can pick up whole galaxies (other than the milky way). Hopefully I will be able to get around 1700 total for all of my Nikon Gear.

So this... is what all the laser money is turning into..
I .... I need a minute to talk with my banker

Well done there Isaac, you Astro photography skills are improving greatly! I get views like that from my house, I should go out more ofter and shoot. Now I feel Bad!

As an Auzzie stargazer, I'm lovin' your photography  What's wrong with that beautiful MilkyWay, is it that old that your starting to map it out urself now??

I just want a bit more detail from them but I'll need a mount for that. I printed these out today and they look even better as prints. :)

Those pictures look beautiful! Man I wish I could see that many stars at my place. I don't even live in the city and I never see any stars! I'm jealous man! Lol

These are looking great, man! It's good to come back to LPF see your progress!
/c
