I'm offering a 5% return rate for anything <$200 and a 10% return rate for anything >$200. Therefore if you invest $200 you will get $20 back as a return + your original $200 + a driver. The reason for that is... if anything needs to be redesigned I don't have just my $1100 to spend, but instead I have $2200. So in essence $1100 goes to the engineer and the my money will be a buffer.. so if more money is needed I have it on hand. Once the final product is designed and ready to go. The investors money will be returned plus a little extra for helping out.
I hope to see the driver hit the market by mid next month, but it could be earlier or later then that.

He said the engineer has run the design only through a simulator at this point.:undecided:
I was assured by the engineer of 30+ years that he has a working prototype (in simulation) and the first batch (5-10 boards) will be made and tested thoroughly once payment is received.
