This popped up in my recommended videos. Laser part starts at 9:25.

This dude let's his 4-5 years old kid play with a 1W+ arctic as if it were a simple toy. Dude doesn't seem to care that even a slight reflection can mess up his vision for the rest of his life.

Think you had extras in the tags

I quoted your comment and spotted it right away! You have to delete the extra tags.its working fine in the one I posted because I deleted the extra characters

I watch his prank videos all the time. But now I think I have to hate him... That was just too stupid.

Oh boy. Roman Atwood gets millions of viewers, I can guarantee you thousands of people are gonna go out and buy one and wave it around like its a child's toy without safety glasses, just like he did. And of course it's a wicked lasers product...

I left him a warning that if his boy simply dropped that laser and looked down to catch it that he could get blinded and I got like 40 replies, many people agreed but some actually defended him saying because nothing happened it's ok.

You know what.....

Im frankly tired of trying to help people like this, you try & try & you still have people doing this. I think I need to agree with a comment I once saw on YouTube:

"Us humans just need to learn the hard way sometimes".

That's exactly what I did once with my 1.5W 445nm, only I didn't get blinded, I burned myself. Have never dropped a laser again since then.

Yes unfortunately this is true, people have to learn from their own mistake, they seldom learn from other people's mistakes.

Sadly the kid doesn't know better than doing the exact thing his dad showed him to do with it and potentially blinding himself.

The worst part of this is that out of those 2.5 million views there must have been at least a handful of idiots that went ahead and bought a similar laser without knowing shit about safety.
