Need a laser with visible beam (noob with lasers)

Hello, so i need a laser that has a visible beam(dont care about the color), the thing is that i read that for that to be possible, the laser would be dangerous to the eye even by just looking at the spot on the wall or floor, could damage your eyes permanently, so thats not nice, i was wondering if there was any laser that can have a beam but maybe less power so we can use it without glasses.

The main reason for the laser is to take some pictures with some friends with it, the pics will be in the dark so the laser will be more visible but again, if we could use it without the glasses would be great (wouldnt look good for the pics), if its usable without glasses and has a clear visible beam, pls tell me which one is it thanks

Just use fog with a safe laser friend.

As you are a new to lasers i would recommend you actually learn more about lasers before getting 1 and swinging it around and taking pics. Well you could use the 532nm for visibility and all lasers are eye hazard still you have to use goggles, Welcome to LPF

Hi,
Looking at the spot on the wall is fine just as long you dont shine I on any reflective surfaces. You can have a great time by using common sense . You know that lasers are dangerous to a certain extent if you dont follow safety precautions . A 532nm low power is fine to start with and is very bright and has a great dot size beam.
This one has a custom heat sink no focus adapter needed .And is for sale..

Yes I did being that you dont need a focus adapter I made the heat sink one piece with a faux integral adapter .
Then slid the module inform the back end , then tighten the set screw. And its case Pos+ ....

Hi, if you search eBay for "900 miles laser pointer" just about all the lasers are $10-$15 and have visible beams at night. Green is the most visible. Also, you don't need safety glasses to look at the spot. Just don't point it at anything reflective.

They're accidents meaning they happen when you don't expect it. It's like driving a car and saying to yourself "Just don't crash into anything". The dude wants to see the beam in darkness... I know glasses are important but we all know that by definition they block the laser light so you can't see the beam. Duh.

Just view the beam through a camera+VR headset... All the visibility sans the eye hazard

Read your own comment. You didn't say beam you said "dot" in addition to saying "don't point it at anything reflective". You were in no way talking about the beam, duh.

I think you're both right. Ya gotta be careful and use safety precautions, but also, lasers ARE inherently dangerous anyways, and YOU SHOULDNT EVEN BE PLAYING WITH THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!

That being said, use common sense and everything should be all right. Life is all about taking risks to have fun after all! (Extreme sports)
