Thanks guys, glad you liked the sunset, it was truly a gorgeous sight.

I've posted this one here before, but here is a sunrise in Erbil, Iraq. I'm in Kurdish country, they don't consider themselves as part of Iraq, want to be their own country. The people here don't look much like the southern Iraqi's either:

Such a beautiful place,
We only see the war-torn images, not the lovely landscapes.

Our media has been bought and paid for, they propagate what ever impression the powers that be want us to see.

Wow, very nice skyline and well composed Chris !
Yes indeed, we've been fed misinformation daily about what's happening.
I love the Middle East, so full of rich, deep cultures and the cuisine, mmmmm.....

I've been to Israel twice and it's something I'll never forget.
If I had the chance, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Back when I visited in '94 & '96 we only had film cameras, I'll have to dig out the old photo albums and scan some shots.

Nice one Hydro, great colours in that shot !!

That was the word I was looking for. Yes we get fed a lot of misinformation. And I agree, the culture and cuisine is lovely.
If you can find your old albums, please share with us.
