Nature Shots

I'm afrid I'm never able to visit Indonesia, temperatures over +20*C are way too hot for me. -If you got nature pictures from Indonesia it would be great if you could share some of those, please.
:)

If 20C is your upper limit indonesia will have little to offer indeed, apart from some places at high altitude that actually do get that cold (and much colder). Then again wearing suitable clothes makes it much easier to deal with a warm climate, wearing things like shots and flip flops drop the apparent temperature a lot. If the outdoor temp is 25C here in the netherlands i'm sweating bullets, but 35C on bali is not much of a issue - apart from avoiding any physical work which is easy enough when on holiday.

As for photos from indonesia, i have many, and have some online as well here: https://www.merghart.com/p/22/Photos-from-Asia

I'm working on getting that website to display them better especially on mobile devices, but on laptop/desktop i hope you'll have some nice things to look at.

I don't specialize in nature photography though, so many of the pictures are cultural as well. If you want indonesian sunset pics i have heaps f them stored but not processed so far - let me know if you are interested in the view from a particular place so i can post an image of it.

I'd like to share a pic from the day trip I took yesterday with my wife and kids.
This is a place called "The Three Sisters" in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, NSW.
It's about a 2½ hours from our place at an altitude of approx. 920m/3000ft above sea level.

Very nice, Andrew. You have some really great landscapes not far from where you live. Reminds me of my years in the Rocky Mountains. We have some great landscapes here too. Just different.

They must be stunning Paul, The Rocky Ms' are on my list of places I'd love to see. :D

A little higher altitude too. Denver is in a valley that has mountains to the west of it. It is a mile above sea level and the mountains are several thousand feet higher. Denver is called the "Mile High City".

I love what I've seen of the Denver area.
Incredible.
Mile high city, so awesome !!

Isn't the stadium where the Denver Bronco's play also named "Mile High Stadium"?
Opposing teams have a hard time playing up there as they aren't used to the thinner air.

RB, beautiful pic of the Three Sister's:)

It used to be Peter. Then the Broncos won the super bowl twice in a row and in the 1990's the city council decided to build a new stadium at tax payer expense. It is now called Coors Stadium and most everyone who doesn't go to the games was pissed just as much as I was. It was a gift to the owner of the Broncos.
