name change?

Hello all

Now that I've found my way back here after a couple of years, I was wondering if it'd be possible to request a name change. In the five years or so since I've been active here, I've gone on to establish a fairly well known (in some circles anyway) alias. For the sake of simplicity, I was wondering if I could get my name changed to reflect this?

That name is Chicxulub

It should be as straight forward as editing the user name under the unique ID number from the AdminCP since this is vBulletin. Hopefully he won't have a problem with doing so.

Nope. The only thing that changes is your name. Rep, posts, join date, signature, avatar and such don't change. Or at least shouldn't :thinking:

Maybe a combination of the two like Chick Zoo Lub. Lub as in luv maybe? I've heard of people refer to love as lub like "I lub u".

It's CHEEK-sha-loob.

Among my many interests are astronomy, paleontology and biology, so I picked the name Chicxulub, after the Chicxulub impactor that wiped out the dinosaurs. I have something from astronomy that killed the biology to create a huge part of paleontology.
