My first diy laser build!

Sorry for the late post, Don't know if you will be able to do those things with your module as the output of these are always overrated, I purchased a red laser pointer supposed to be <200Mw and comparing to my home build it falls way below my builds, however it can burn grass/cut grass.

Being a green as you said it's basis is an IR Diode, so, this can present issues with emmited IR, as long as you follow the safety guidlines contained in the stickies (you have read these haven't you) you will be aware of the precautions you need to take.

:thanks: for the rep.

Of course :) YW for rep :)
I am gonna use safety precautions and treat it like a machine gun shooting when it's on someones eye lol... Also a long sword :P
What IR and green 532nm goggles should I get?
Could a IR reflection be potentially hazardous or should I just be careful and wear only green goggles when popping balloons etc.
Of course some day it might get in the eye from a very very reflective surface, Would it be hazardous then?

i never saw people wearing 2 goggles when using a lil green laser.... don't worrie about the ir from a green laser

it was measured 30mw ir, I don't want that in my eyes! lol
And there are goggles that protect from both green and ir. :P

30 mW from a 100 mW green laser ?
laser is measured at 130mw without ir filter (advertised as 200!)
with ir filter it is measured at 80mw
people have measured it differently and got a basic idea of how powerful it is,
80mw green and 30mw ir (invisable light)

so you get with ir and green 110mW :)

I still don't know why you want to wear ir goggles...

if you have good goggles they protect you also from ir

So the ir does not fuck up my eyes when it reflects off a balloon, Anyways know any good 532nm goggles "good price good quality)

I dont kiss my mom because I do not live with here, I was adopted and my parents I recently got are divorced, And I'm buying the goggles okay? :<(
