Most powerful lab unit?

Guys, this thread is two months old and some guy with his first two posts opened it back up. It was a necropost by industry thinker. What a name.

I had my 4 watt CNI 532 nm laser on ebay fot 900 dollars before I took it down. Someone thought the price was good, they duplicated my listing using my photo's trying to sell it for 2,000 dollars at the same time. They thought they might turn a nice profit if someone bought their listing, they would then quick like a bunny buy mine to ship to them. When I pulled my listing down they pulled theirs.

Yep, I nearly bought that laser of you back then. But I swear that wasn't me that made the duplicate listing. :p
I would not of given that laser away.

Ha, was a US lister. Price was probably so cheap folk wondered what was wrong with it.

Well when I saw the listing, and saw the images I knew I wanted it. :p
But you did have it on there cheap for what it was.

There were two 4 watt units on ebay, a blue and a green, I could only afford the green at the time, wish I could have bought the blue too, both were listed at less than 1K.

I believe so, sure it was listed at that, do they not exist in DPSS?

I believe it was a longer WL, either that or the power was misrepresented, more likely. I don't know the possible DPSS WL's for blue. The unit looked identical to my 4w 532 nm.

If it had the same host and was 473nm then it may not of been 4W but it would still of been a high power unit. Those style hosts with DL support 800-1500mW lasers.

Common blue DPSS WLs are 457nm and 473nm.
