I'f there's a way to put this to youtubes attention other then flagging it, For example, sending them a message that they should contact the parents about it, I think that would be much more useful then flagging it...

I doubt they would take the time to contact parents. Worst case scenario is the account would be closed. I doubt that would even happen.

I know there's a thin chance of contacting parents but can't they suspend the account for a while?

Somehow I HIGHLY doubt that the youtube account is run by kids...

So if anyone wants to go the extra mile, send a message to the account of the youtube video.

Unfortunately it's not likely that anything at all will be done by google.

Google is actually pretty responsive. If enough people report it, they'll probably remove the video at least.

Yeah, it didn't hit his eyes, but still they shouldn't have been pointing it at his face. Stupid parents, lasers are not toys. At least they were smart enough to get their kids goggles.

lasers ARE toys. just like expensive cars are toys.
they are toys that simply require a certain level of responsibility and knowlegde.
Kids usally do not know responsibility.

That's like saying guns are toys....

In some ways, they are... So are sports cars, hummers and boats just to name a few:p

Some toys are dangerous - and imo that adds to the fun. It also means greater responsibility is needed in using them.

I am saying that indeed.., i love to shoot with my airgun into cans and wood.
Danger is more challenging and fun.
I agree with infinitus.

Those kids are stopid but well...imo its also "weird" to say lasers are no toys.

Are you serious....GUNS are TOYS........
You need to wake up and smell the coffee....

That statement could be considered an attempt at TROLLING...
Is TROLLING your intent....:thinking::thinking::thinking:

There is a big difference between a toy air gun and a
REAL gun that can easily KILL it's target...

Yeah, I love guns just as much as any NRA nut, but guns, as well as lasers, are things that needed to be treated with more caution then a pellet rifle.

3 Things -

One - I said "In some ways"

Two - "greater responsibility is needed in using them."

Three - I am :tired: so I might take your advice about coffee.

For a very small number of people there are legitimate reasons to have guns. For the rest there a hundreds of justifications.

For many the reason is entertainment, and where entertainment is concerned, I do think that small objects that provide amusement can be called toys.

Now if I wanted to troll... I'd say something Seinfeldian like:

"What's the deal Canadians and guns? Have you ever noticed how they are all up in arms about Americans with guns?"

Or something more Charlton Heston:

"It's not guns that kill people, it's the bullets! Guns are 100% safe!":D:p

(No those aren't real quotes, and trolling wasn't my intent... when I troll it's more subtle:na:)

I stand by what I stated.... GUNS are NOT TOYS...
Canada or the USA or CHIBOUGAMU have nothing to do with
it.
To say GUNS are TOYS is just irresponsible... IMO...

Would you honestly give a loaded gun to a 7 year old to play
with...

We're arguing about the word toy now...

I would never give a 7 year old a loaded gun to play with, but I would teach that same 7 year old to never hold his finger on the trigger, and never have anything but the target in his line of fire.

toy
noun /toi/
toys, plural

An object for a child to play with, typically a model or miniature replica of something
- a toy car

An object, esp. a gadget or machine, regarded as providing amusement for an adult
- in 1914 the car was still a rich man's toy

A person treated by another as a source of pleasure or amusement rather than with due seriousness
- a man needed a friend, an ally, not an idol or a toy

Denoting a diminutive breed or variety of dog
- a toy poodle

Looks like I'm not the only one who shares a similar view:whistle:

Like i said. Kids do not know responsibility. So no, ofcource.

Secondly, my air gun is just as capable to kill a human on distance then a normal weapon.

I guess a toy is a difinitation or opinion.

For me that gun is a toy. A dangerous toy that is.
I mean a kid can kill itself by swallowing small parts/stuff.
