I am sorry we have you waiting for so long time for 500mW 635nm laser diode ,actually it should have arrived stock last week ,and but for some reason the stock has not arrived until now , so here we kindly ask if you can wait the diode stock next month or we can first refund you

Well, hopefully someone can figure out where these freaking things are coming from and start harvesting to drive down the price a bit.

They are not being harvested. They have long clean pins and based on my conversations with them they are coming directly from a distributor for Mitsubishi.:beer:

I wouldn't be all that surprised if it's the same exact diode...

the 500mw from what some members told me is the same but open can, so it can be driven harder.
But the beam specs are the same.
