Ok......shouldn't that read:
"Take an English class. Obviously, if you did, you could read what I've said correctly."
What happened to the b-26 marauder 1/48 scale model airplane? Can you sell those here? Even if it ain't builded yet?
Does it have a laser in it? :gun:
Back to reading.............................
Correct.
Incorrect but close. I think it should read:
Obviously if you did, you would be able to understand what I've written.
I could read it perfectly well. I just couldn't understand it and he said nothing. He wrote it. You could add the word correctly of course and the first comma in this phrase could be argued. This is why I said there was at least one comma missing. You can argue semantics endlessly. I mean, should it be understand, or comprehend as well? A professor in communication may have different insights too.
Well, just because I or you other members here don't care at all about model airplanes doesn't mean we should all rant on the guy. I agree that obviously he didn't make it too clear what it was that he wanted or was asking for - it's obvious that English may not be his strong suit, perhaps not his first or major language - but nevertheless, he moved on and if he's happy with his plane, so be it. I bet if we went to another forum website, they'd say: "Wow, you losers go have fun spending hundreds on a little yellow dot. I'll use the sun and a magnifying glass if I want to burn with light..." And we'd reply: "bbbuttt, it's YELLOW!!!! It's VERY complicated to manufacture, and it's rare and special... and obviously this one can't burn you silly, it's only 5mW.. if it could burn and be yellow.... BOYYY *drools* it'd be worth THOUSANDS!!!"
I love lasers as much as the next guy, but just because he doesn't have the same passion or writing ability as we do doesn't mean we should bug him. Just let him leave the forum.
Yes, but I wouldn't be on another site, with little experience, asking if someone will buy an RC plane, or whatever, then return to the thread moaning when told no. I'd move on from the topic and stay moved on. I actually don't mind if this guy wishes to continue in this hobby and am completely happy to help anyone out but he isn't making any friends telling the forum to take English classes is he?
I only remember him mentioning the plane once so I don't think he was trying to convince anyone of an unrelated passion. He was just moaning that he couldn't make himself understood and that wasn't our fault.
