Congrats on your new build. I suppose if I don't get you a 121 I'll be whacked by it soon;) Haven't forgotten:)

What a nice beast, boy that looks cool Lifetime. It must feel like a monster in your hand:cool:

Hi,Pman,

Thanks buddy to funny this turned out to be a great diodes . With fresh cells it peaked over 7+ W=7300+, Then stabilized to 69+and stayed very cooling the sink. then cells started losing juice. At this power you can only go so far with the 18650's. I was going originally with a Mag Lite mod but this host kept on haunting me, would been better off with a 32650 build but wanted something different. Thanks P...
Rich:)

@ Skans,
Glad you enjoyed it as much as i did the host was sitting long enough. Alaskan was looking for another Mace some time back and i almost was going to offer it up to him, but i seen a future for it, sorry Alaskan i know how much he likes his BE's... Oh by the way how is your eye better i hope be safe ..
Rich:)

Here' a few more pics of a read out at lower cell power..and a few beam shots

I don't think iv'e seen a more stable line at least in my short time here.:)

Hi G,
Yes the diode gods were good to me on this build, I'm also happy with the line myself. And it was keeping very cool in the huge sink, A long time ago it had a 7875 in it but i put that in a little girly mon host and pump you up on this mace . Thanks Pal as always ..

Rich:)

LOL, you know for it's divergence the 7875 is pretty tough, if our new diodes had that energy density for their spot size.....wow.

Hi Red,
Yes the 7875's are awesome they been around for quite some time, as a matter of fact i have 3 diodes sitting for smaller builds. But i was surprised at this 41 going to try a 3 element in it later . When i seen over 7+ peak i crapped my draws nice .. going to check divergence between the 44 and 41 Thanks again and your doing some awesome stuff with your high tech builds . i always read your threads learn a lot from them..

Rich:)

I'm just a low budget mad scientist, lol, but I am learning as I go.

There are people here who could do better in their sleep, I think they are afraid to talk for fear of what the dummy public might do with a little knowledge, but we will figure it out.

Red,
The things you do even on the budget line is awesome, making some thing out of this and that is a gift. Don't undersell your self your a leader in this hobby no BS..And again there are a lot of folks who can't boil water and some like you that make it happen and with determination Kudo's brother..

Rich:)

You are much to kind, I'm just a hobbyist.

But if I can inspire anyone, then let me inspire safety first.

We have fun with our lasers, but we must always remember to protect our self and others from accidents that can do a lifetime worth of damage in a moment.

So be creative and enjoy, but never forget to protect your sight and never harm anyone else, the rest is easy and can be learned.

Red, !00% on that note to many folks not thinking now a days. but we will survive with safety in mind. thats what will keep us going, so keep up the great builds buddy..

Rich:)

hi,
Thank you VV it was a great build but wish it was a 26650 tube in it..
Hi,
BBB Yes the heat sink was screaming high-power diode, the cooling is awesome on the build plenty of chunk to suck up the heat. Thank you guys for your comments and thoughts always welcome..

Rich:)
