If the x100 is the only prize bought more than half the pot will be given to the forum imo too much, If they get the x125 the forum will still get around $200.

An X-125 is a waste of $80 IMHO. They should buy some Aerogel off of eBay instead.
Keep in mind this is a fund-raiser, with several great prizes.

The Aerogel display kit on eBay (Sorry, using Wii browser, can't link) could work, only $58+S/H; maybe a prize for the person who bought the 100th ticket ;)

an X-100 will be fine. Thats plenty of power, over 120mW right there.

You can't guarantee 120mW, It is only guaranteed at 100mW so you don't want to get someones hopes up if it is only peaks at 110mW and averages 100mW. It most likely will put out 120mW but you don't know if it will for sure.

Just trying to prevent any idiots from being pissed off it were to put out 110mW or something like that.

having just cancelled a long-delayed DX order...
I'll put 5% of my projected refund (less the x years interest I won't get while waiting for the refund ;))
toward the LPF,
without which I would have never found that money-sink (DX - which however I do appreciate, mostly)

So AMKthingy, you should have $30 - 6 tickets more - from me via PayPal tonight.

Added the others. We have gone over the plan, 1st and 3rd drawing will be done by amk, and I will do drawngs 2 and 4. The drawings WILL be recorded, posted to youtube, and linked to in this thread!

Due to diff timezones, the drawings will most likely take place at different times, so if you miss out in the first video, dont worry, there is another coming! :)

I'm not sure how you are dividing/grouping the prizes, but remember, I have THREE (3) packages of rocks made up. The first has the baker's dozen, higher quality specimens. The other two have five specimens in them. One is a little higher quality, so I have them marked so it can be assigned to the "higher" place.

So from what I've seen so far we have, and I have no idea of what "place" these will all be placed in.

1) laser
2) goggles
3) sphere
4) big rock package
5) 1st smaller rock package
6) 2nd smaller rock package

You guys could do the drawings live via Ustream TV. It's a free, easy to use, live streaming service, all you need is a web cam.

Ahhhh #$@%, this is gonna be fun! We can't really do a redraw, cause some of the prizes have already been sent out. I will post the winners again, and amk can post the major winners. IF i can remember who they were :-/ :-/ :-/
