Literally have $20 and need a burning laser.

Ok first off that is a 50mW laser it will be the same power as the "50mw green pointer pen" in your signature.

If you want to do burning You MUST buy goggles FIRST and have a good understanding of laser safety.

as far as your budget you wont get much for $20 I would save up and wait until you have at least $50.

Safety glasses are 100% needed for burning and they cost $45 shipped from survival laser. The uvex glasses dont work anymore due to a formula change so you need to save atleast $100 or you will spend THOUSANDS in medical bills due to being blind in about 10 seconds of use

Or you can pour some gasoline on a laser you already have, lit it on fire, and you have a burning laser for under 20$...

Seriously, this ain't a cheap hobby...

The pair of Uvex I reviewed seem to work great for my 300mW. No light gets through them, and the beam becomes 100% invisible. The dot becomes extremely small, and looks like a needle point.

However, I VERY highly doubt they'll protect against IR. So definitely not for use if your laser isn't IR filtered.

Another one of these threads

My advice is always the same. Save your pennies and get a decent laser.

He did say he wants a burning laser.

He didn't say whether he wanted to burn things with this laser or for the laser to burn.

So the video would be cheapest. Still need glasses though.

You guys are right. I should save up. As they say patience is a virtue. Getting my paycheque soon so hoping to buy of the BST forum. Should get a good quality 'burning' laser hahah
