Sure, sticky'd. Maybe will clean up sometime, the stickies are getting cluttered! Hard to justify removing any though, most of them have valuable information. They're all staying for now though.

A new 2.6W canned 465nm by Nichia? source from Techood's webstore

Crazy how many diodes are out there.......

Just got this message from Techhood after I asked to buy a few of these:

Did you ever tested this unit before?
Frankly it is not decent Nichia diode they "called" it nichia.
And the divergence is big and the power output is not stable.

If you knows those characters very well we can quote..

Update with the 505nm, and a few little details with info :beer:

^Not sure on the 465nm from techhoods site, i havn't come across any other supplier providing spec's

So, you ARE going to call these "480nm" diodes 476nm? I think they are closer to 473nm from what I've seen. They can be pushed to 476nm and some even higher, but at the low power they are supposed to be run at they seem more like 473nm to me.

I would agree with you Paul :beer:
For now ill just be placing a best to my knowledge WL number.

The Diodes were sold to me as 480 and 505, but as no one has a datasheet on these diodes yet it hard to say,

And in reality with this Hobby the WL number doesn't really represent much as we all run Diode's at different Energy and Temperature levels hence changing the true WL readings anyway

new sharp diodes added to the best of my knowledge - the 495nm diode will remain but i realise it tested at ~488nm

Updated the Pictures so members can use the thread for a quick reference without downloading the PDF,

i noticed the bdr209 is listed as a 5.6mm diode while it is actually 3.8mm
