No problems SHIN

use the method I described and your reading and settings will be dead on!

Just fyi, I'm in Italy for the next 10 days, so I can't update the chart in that period of time.

A130
New 445nm coated AixiZ glass lens
1.037A -- 1.042W

I'll do some more tests with my A140 once I get a larger heatsink.

Holy crap! I'm so excited now to start my 445 build. I plan to use the 18650 host, a140 at about 1.1A and aixiz 405 glass :D

That's close to what I'll have. Right now I am soon to have an 18650 kit (plus Aixiz 405 glass) and I have a Flexdrive at 1.2A and an A130 diode. But I might just turn the pot on the Flex to 1.5A after seeing nospin's results.

A140
Romisen 14500 host
pressfit heatsink by IgorT
950mA
455nm coated aixiz glass lens

Estimated output: ~1W

Not bad for a "AA" sized host :p

Finally updated again, with one especially interesting build (1,6W)

I'd have to agree ZRTMWA! I'm personally just taking my time on this build mainly because I'm waiting until my next paycheck to order the diode and flex, all I've got ordered right now is the 18650 host kit from Jayrob and the aixiz 405 glass lens.

It is quite difficult to wait though, after seeing everyones builds here I've been drooling for the past week and a half haha!

Diode Source: XJ-A130
Driver: FlexDrive V5
Current: 1.5A
Lens: Aixiz 405 Glass (Jayrob Custom)
Power: No LPM
Host/ Heatsink: Jayrob 18650 w/ XL Copper Heatsink
Run Time: <1 hour
Status: Alive

So far I am not heatsinking my FlexDrive because I'm not sure of the best method. The laser only stats to blink on longer duty cycles, around 90-120 seconds on. I think I'm going to use thermal pads.

#3
XJ-A140
microflex v5 1150mA
405-G-2 lens
heatsink - custom P60
powered by 18650
LPM - Kenometer lite
Output power after lens - 1250mW

#4
XJ-A140
microflex v5 1180mA
405-G-2 lens
heatsink - custom P60
powered by 18650
LPM - Kenometer lite
Output power after lens - 1300mW

I use my new custom 2A test load to set the v5. (4 of iN5404 and 1ohm resistor=4V)
I could not set over 1.2A. So I asked drlava about this.
Drlava's microflex v5 can supply maximum 1.2A to 445nm LD, not 1.5A.
This is described as a equation at the last lines of v5 manual.
