List - Existing Visible Wavelength Laser Diodes

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

Where would this 622nm diode go? this guy only had 3 and apparently the technology was unobtainable. See the topic and there's a picture of it.

Hmmm, ok - probably wouldn't fit anywhere. It's not an announcement or rumour of an upcoming diode. It's not commercially available (but just expensive or unattainable by us). It's also not common (obviously).

And I think that's cool - I think that's how one-offs should be handled. Otherwise the list doesn't serve much of a purpose, since I'm sure there are (as has been said before) tons of one-offs created at different wavelengths.

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

The weird thing is I can't find any info on it even by googling it. I just wonder why it was made?

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

Interesting find it says 620nm to 1610nm on the waring label too. Anyone know anything?

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

^ figured it was a 635nm with the possibly of a few freaks.

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

I expected them to most likely be 660's or IR myself.

If they were rated higher than 15mW I would have gotten some, but I already have 10 635nm diodes I haven't done anything with that are stronger than that.

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

Stronger than 15mw?

What do you have ?

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

the 20mW's from DJNY's GB.

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

Does he have some pure-diode lasers that we've missed?

Forgot that it is just about diodes.

But, yes - there is a 415nm diode around.

Great!
Added - Roithner RLT415-200PMG

Rainbow is filling up. Wish we had something in the yellow range ;)

Re: List of Visible Wavelength - Laser Diodes

Hey, I just found another 450nm diode - the Osram PLT4NSB and I would classify it as E, since it costs about $1000 - Farnell has one.
