Kryton Beast Logo CONTEST!!!

My submission; I do a bit of freelance graphics so this is something that I have experience with. I may submit another design later in the competition if I have time.

Graphics can be provided in vector format, pdf or Illustrator eps or any other format requested.

PLZ, again I state, leave the original Kryton logo alone. Essentially what it comes down to is, I'm Arby's. The main logo of arby's never changes but when I come out with a new product line at Arby's, I make a logo for that product line alone and throw the Arby's logo onto it.

The Kryton is the name of the barrels in general. The Beast, is a specific model.

Kryton Beast,
Kryton Smooth,
Kryton PPR,
Kryton Groove,
Kryton Block.

The Kryton remains the same.

Here is the graphics for everyone to use.

Not the best at drawing here

Was trying to make the legs of the A look like fangs and the center of it with an eye.

That D back in art class strikes again

What is the host going to look like anyway. I saw 2 sketches and a 3d image. It will help to tailor the design. If it has the twist grooves that will be hard to make a design like BEAST fit, it's more like TRON

The Kryton portion of the logo is the same so it's all good. Adding on top like that is perfectly acceptable. I had thought that the beast was going to be smaller than the word Kryton, but now that I've seen it bigger, it adds that certain intimidating factor that I think the beast needs. Might even consider the eyes inside the claw marks. One thing I would like to note. There is NO WAY for me to distinguish the two tone entry when it's engraved onto the host. I should have stated it will be ONE TONE. positive no negative. I think the best way to envision this is your paper is black.. and you only have a white pencil.

Needless to say, the entries thus far are promising. I'm not going to make statements to the positive or negative on any entry as I don't want to offend anyone because my tastes differ from yours. Each persons talent and creativity is a reflection of each individual person and as such, is beyond reproof. :D

Cheech, the highlighted part may affect your entries. Also the Original "Kryton" part, was to be unchanged. If i remember correctly.

Actually the cuts through the logo Kryton are perfectly acceptable. It actually looks quite interesting.

Yes the Beast WILL have the groove that goes twisty around the diameter. As you can see on the groove though, those lines are parallel to one another and can still be used as a reference for aligning the logo. The 3d image is the design.

There still is a very large area on the head that would allow for the logo as well.

Kenom, tomorrow (actually it's today but in a few hours) is my Mathematical Analysis II final, I'll try to make a prototype in less than two days :)

I'm in the process of drawing some up. Just a word of advice to those making logos, remember the size of the host and that most small details will get lost or bleed together upon shinking.

Think to yourself, "will this shrink to a business card size and still be safe."

</my two cents>
