I'm starting to notice more and more that there aren't very many people that joined this forum before 2008. I also find it odd that I joined the forum before people like daguin. I'm almost positive that daguin was around when I joined. :thinking:

I started with a different account, temporarily lost interest, came back and couldn't remember anything about the account. I started over.

I know it is hard to believe, but I am basically a hermit. It was "easier" to start a new account than to deal with contacting the admin. :crackup:

I think that there is still an account on here (with no posts) that I also went through while I was learning

I started lurking here in mid-to-late 2007, probably around august/september.. It wasn't until BlueFusion's driver-group-buy-slash-horror-show that I signed up for an account. I still remember Timelord's incredibly annoying sig. I'd never noticed before that my account is older than Dave's, actually.. That makes his post count seem that much more ridiculous. :D

I keep trying to pretend that all the new members have been lurking for 6 months before registering... It's not working well.

What happened to timelord? I had forgotten about him until now. :o
 
I'm early 2008, but I lurked a bit before then. I think it's because Kipkay's Laser Flashlight Hack Video made it to Youtube in August of 2007.

I'll admit, I was never here until I saw that video...
 
i didnt register until 08.. but i was lurking here for almost a year before that.

I saw one member give another member 10$ for food.. but he spent it on a prostitute instead. (hypothetically)
I was here, just not as a registered member.
