Wow! This diode is incredible. Not in power, but in wavelength. Not to mention this diode is a brute, taking a whopping 7.7 Amps before folding back to 50mW.
470nm at 5.0A
473nm at 6.5A
475nm at 6.8A
Finally, at 7.7A, this diode emits a GORGEOUS 480.7nm blue :O
To my eyes, this was a stunning pure color to see for the first time. You can see for yourself here:
