If you decide you want to go with that host you linked:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.26992

... You can just add $12 dollars to the price of my Pocket Mini basic kit. The other options for the Pocket Mini kit would be the same pricing...

See the Pocket Mini kit pricing here:

Just contact me via PM to send me the payment to order the host, and when it gets to me, I will contact you to discuss what options you would like to go with for the kit...

I've gone through your MANY posts and sent PM's and I still can't find the order form for your 405-G1 lenses. Contact me somehow about ordering stuff from you. I've spent over an hour going in circles here.

I was away for a couple of hours, but I've got you covered now Mike...

Thanks!

New kit added! (see first post)

It's an 18650 kit with a massive heatsink...

Great for a nice 445 build!

Hey jayrob. I'm new to the forum and am here because of you. I have been wanting to build my own 445 and was really taken with your 18650 S.S. polished kit, I have to have one. On your 18650 thread you show a comparison shot of a 530mW and a 950 mW, what diode does the 950mw use.

I will be ordering one of your 18650 kits with the "hot" option and 405-G-1 lenses and all the extras that you offer. I would like to use a Nichia/Casio A140 445nm diode powered at 800 to 950 mW's unless you can suggest a better diode/power combination. I already have the diode and glasses but would be OK with setting them aside for a future project, if you do know of a better set up for this power range in that host.

I can tell by the threads that you may be backed up on orders, but I don't mind waiting, quality takes time. Let me know what you think and I will place my order. Also I love your skyshots as I am also into astronomy and photography though I haven't joined the two yet. Maybe in a future post I will tell you the story of how I got a Celestron C8 for free.

Free! Nice score...

Welcome to LPF! Please read up on proper eye protection...

That said, I would be happy to send you a kit, but I have a back log of orders. I'm starting to get caught up, but I'm going on a camping trip 8/15 through 8/22 and it will get me backed up again... (I'll be on-line probably every day for an hour or so, but will not be able to build kits and ship until I get back)

I'm taking orders that will be filled per 'date paid'.

If you can be patient, you will not be disappointed with the kit!

Send me a PM for pricing options and PayPal... :)

i am on the verge of canceling my WL S3 arctic order and building my own what kit would you suggest id like blue or violet and as close to 1W as possible but i wanna keep it under $200 if possible

I've got three different kits that use an 18650 battery, which is what I would recommend if you want high power...

(laser diode not included)

They are all good builds, it just depends on what 'tickles your fancy'...

Of the three, the Stainless Steel 18650 kit is a little more tricky to assembly. Only because the heatsink and pill must be threaded into the head of the host without letting the wires get twisted. Which is easy if you know how to do it. There are assembly tips in my thread:
http://laserpointerforums.com/f64/fs-stainless-steel-18650-kit-polished-perfect-445-a-52159.html

Of course there are options as well, so take a look at the kits, and send me a private message...

Here's the other two:

18650 kit (black host):

Hey Jayrob,

My 3405 "Hot" kit arrived sometime last week while I was on vacation. It was a delight to find it in my mailbox on Saturday. Sunday morning I mounted my 445 diode in a module and put everything together. You made it much too easy with your kit. Within 15 minutes, I had an awesome laser in my hands.
I will probably order two more of these in the not too distant future. I would like to do a red and blue ray in this host.

Another host I like is the Ultrafire WF501B. Do you possibly make heatsinks to fit that host??

Thanx for offering your awesome kits.

George

That host looks just like the old style 4171 with a different bezel...

I would just have you send me one, and I can make a heatsink that would fit...

Glad you like the 3405 kit! :)

Hello,

I'm wanting to purchase a DIY kit from you. Looking for a flashlight size, some way to focus the beam. Would like to be able to obtain angels of approx 3-12 degrees or greater. I like the ways you have the one light set up where it cam return to a flashlight or be able to accept another color module via drop in. I want a nice build with quality module and lens. First I want to start with green then build a drop in for blue. The adjustablle angle is the BIGGIE. Please email me with suggestions and an approx. $ for a HOT build ready for me to insert a module. Thanks Todd
