Yes those are called lenses they are used to focus beams. A lot of lasers use those. Thanks for showing us.

Thanks Firefly. These are numerous in my tool box already from both those reputable vendors. This seemed to me to be a supplier that may distribute to those types of sellers you mention so am curious as to what they may be able to offer the forum and what they know about a product they appear keen to promote.

Of course they may not be selling it at all and simply offering us some advice they feel we may be missing. For that too, I thank them for their efforts.
