Nice idea :yh: but unfortunately i have sold my WL (not Artic anyway) otherwise I would have used my 40W CO2 laser against it :eg:
 





The "Vs" in the titles of these types of videos always seems strange to me.

It's like saying "Bunny Vs Sabretooth Tiger on PCP and Amphetamine". It's not versus unless both opponents are offensively set on eachother.

I'd like to see WL Lasers Vs. 40W CO2.

Not very likely. I mean don't get me wrong the batteries can explode... but the chance of such speactacular fireworks is zero.

Look around youtube for torture tests... there is a lot more smoke and a whole lot less flames, and a shorter duration.

Also... HOURS OF BURNING? :wtf: ? Turn brain back on please :tinfoil:

It's a nice video, but that last part is not genuine.

Fell free to prove me wrong using your own lasers and ipad:p
 
I've always found these kind of things such a waste. When something is brand new, the first guys that get their hands on it just have to find a great way of destroying it.

If anyone has a zombied arctic I'd do it if you'd send me it. I have a 500mw 405 and a nasty ass spot light that burns like a little co2 laser when I focus it with a parabolic mirror I have ( dosen't have to touch things with the bulb unlike the sissy WL torch.) Oh yea I could totally think of a way to involve sparklers and matches and lots of heat in the end. I tend to be rather creative with this kinda stuff >_>
 
Well you see the plan is to use the stream of photons to ignite the sparklers....
 
That might work... but sparklers aren't likely to do much to the host either aside from damaging the finish. I want to see the laser DESTROYED.

Does anyone have a talk we could run it over with?:p
 
You'd be surprised what 10 or twenty sparklers could do when you stuff them in something. Heck we could cut the metal tips off and put like 40 of them in there ...and then some matches for the heck of it....I kinda wanna do this now :)
 
If it's made out of aluminum it'll melt provided you keep stuffing sparklers in there...they burn hotter then the melting temp. Maybe just a dab of thermite and you'll have one epic light show...it'll finally make the arctic over spec heh :)
