Interested in the new Jetlasers 100mw 473nm PLE pro Mini

Dont they assemble each laser after the order is paid ? it was same with laserbtb which is now gone, they also took a few days to produce the laser or whatever, i highly doubt they ripped u off, if anything it means u get a good quality laser and they test each laser before send them out i asume.

They can also be busy and have many lasers before that needs to shipped out so dont panic just yet they seem to be the bust company to buy lasers from.

I've also been waiting a while for my order to ship. I ordered a 100mw PL-E Pro on the first of April and it still says "Awaiting paypal payment" under status despite the fact that I've clearly paid. I'm sure I'll get a "Your order has shipped" email randomly at some point. Generally it seems to take JL 2-3 weeks to ship orders. I assume they build everything to order and don't usually carry an inventory of most items.

Okay,

I just received a reply from them! Apparently their response mail got stuck the the "draft" folder.

They told me they had to build my laser after receiving my payment and that they don't work on weekends which I can understand..

Additionally delays were caused because of the "german-shipment method". That means due to VERY strict custom regulations in my country (Laser Pointers over 1mW not allowed) they cannot send via DHL. I didn't have to pay for any extra shipment expenditures.

So I hope everything will go on smoothly from now on

Email them at both addresses and in subject line put attn: Gray --just to make sure they have your order and payment in progressing.

Send to jetlasers@gmail.com and yp support@jetlasers.com

This stupid 1 mW limit on portables applies in Germany as well? Really? I would understand if we talk about pointers, those designed to point stuff like presentation (let's say defined that they have only momentary button, pen-like look etc.), but if this is portable laser designed for different purposes (I cannot imagine how would I point stuff with this beast in the office) no limits should be applied. Or at least some way like laser enthusiasts clubs should be allowed. I mentioned it earlier, more of the stupid regulation does not reduce misuse of lasers, it just complicates it only to legitimate users and has other negative effects. If the regulation is done by smart way (that also means with included education of laser safety), well it might be effective, but what I see in my country smart way is extremely rare.

Sorry, I just wanted to express my disgust about this.

I'm a bit bummed about this but its pretty awesome they are willing to upgrade me to the pro. Gray is awesome.

Im not sure if he is just talking about the 473nm mini with this or if the 532nm mini lasers are effected as well

OK good answer--on the in house unit they were testing they found they need to upgrade some things and want to minimize any more issues. Good news. The unit you have has serious TEM02 issues and is probably worse than what they were testing.

I would suggest you just say yes and take the full size PL-E Pro 473nm model if you don't want to wait for the upgrades to the mini.

I said yes :) Maybe ill be lucky and get one that peaks over 200mw

Full version is awesome. Big. Much bigger than WL Arctic, which looks like a toy next to it. But if I consider how fast it warms up, it is better to have as large heatsink as possible IMO.

I always try to use more heat sink than I think I may need in all my builds. It has never let me down as most of them never even get warm to the touch. I firmly believe you can never have too much heat sink.

Today my order was updated from "awaiting paypal payment" to "payment accepted" after 14 days. I HOPE that means my order is nearly ready to ship.

Yup JETLASERS has the best customer service iv ever seen. They are going to ship out the upgrade and i can ship back the defective mini when the pro version comes. Not only that they are going to pay for the shipping back. Like who does that. Im a little surprised they did not want the laser back in hand first then ship out the new one. I would obviously never do this but someone could just keep both. They are quite trusting. Go JETLASERS !!!

Exactly--who else does that or would even consider to offer that kind of customer service and care?
Is exceptional and typical of JetLasers and Gray's best efforts to have only happy satisfied JetLasers customers.

People think I may be am misstating, exaggerating, or just blowing smoke when I say things like:
"JetLasers is the best of the best. Gray's customer serivice goes beyond what anyone would expect---outstanding world class friendly customer service before, during, and after a sale.
JetLasers is not just about money. They are laser enthusiasts also who love what they create/do and it shows. JetLasers actually cares that their customers are happy, have a good experience with JetLasers, and receive something of value that they enjoy. If unhappy for any reason Jetlasers will do whatever it takes to make it right. Very unusual for a Chinese company---excellent customer service by any standard for any company anywhere actually. Where do you get that level of customer service elsewhere when considering and buying product? Is a rare treat."

As you have seen ---it is all true. Great lasers, great company, world clase best customer service in the business!

Nice to see you on Hak!
Gray proves again and again that his customer service is excellent. Not many companies would do that. I really respect and admire customer service like that. Keep it up Gray!
