Intel's Turbo Memory

I don't have it personally, but I can tell you that most users I've seen that have used the readyboost feature of Vista have been disappointed with the results. They have all used USB flash drives, which are probably considerably slower than that product.

Whether or not it is worth the $$ depends on how much it costs.

I believe that you can pick it up for around $60 to $80usd. Also, from what I read, it is as fast if not faster than a SSD.

I hardly remember anyone mentioning how much Intel Turbo Memory boosted their performance. I think it *can* help, but it's not all that impressive. I think I tried it once with a 1GB flash drive or something, and didn't notice anything. :p

Basically from what I've researched some people have got something like 2 seconds off load time for photoshop when it took them 14 sec to load up with 3 gigs of ram. I wouldn't waste my money, intels releasing a third version of turbo memory with their nehalems I think though
