inexpensive host for 25mm module?

Hi GSS,
he states in post #7 its a 520nm / 1.2W diode . So a G Ball diode would be 525nm correct me. And he says he has a G8 lens .

Yup he said 520 but don't see the G8. My bad as I had to confuse the 25mm module size.

I got the host and assembled it. It works!

I initially had some issues with the chassis body not making electrical contact to heat sink, but a reassembling seemed to make contact. Pushing the connected wires back in to let the module fit was a bit difficult.

Hi,
That came out great with that 520nm diode, I bore out the sink with enough room for wires. its just a matter of fitting it correctly.

I also need a 25mm host to hold one of DTRs copper sinks. If anyone can link me to any thread(s) that I'll be searching later on when time allows, I'll smile at you all day. If not it's cool, Im reading so far that 25mm isn't the most popular sink for handhelds obviously bc they're fattiies. In my case Im looking for longer runtimes so it's necessary. 25x32mm has to fit into soomething w little to no machining I hope(?) Thanks for any info folks

Edit: I see Lifetimes customs btw, they're awesome but Im looking for something closer to right out of the box before I go that route

Here is a a brass host for a DTR 25mm module prewired lots of machining and knurling. Well made I also have a full copper host for a DTR 25mm module. Look at my sales page.

Nice, looks like you could definitely do what Im looking for! I sent you a PM on Monday about a cpl of hosts from your sales thread after you posted but haven't heard back. We're all busy, no complaining from here but Im interested in communication & reliability. Does anyone know of other LPF members who could fill some orders & communicate regularly that are referable? Im from the past so I apo0logize Im a lil out of touch. Jayrob & Pyro were my go to reliables & we did a lot of business for awhile, but that was before. I haven't reached out to them yet assuming they're retired or not active, but if anyone know of other LPFrs crafty on a lathe - pls share or PM their information if they're looking for business bc... I know a guy who needs a guy for something like this
