Hey benm ill try to pick up a flare rate box and bubble wrap today (Friday) and get it to you ASAP but I don't have your address :yabbem:
Just pm me
A FLARE rate box???
Benito,
You may get burnt...
AND afaik you cant send by flat rate anyway.
The listing. btw, describes some small chips , but none that would make these unusable.
I would suggest you to re=wrap well to avoid any new ones.
The two FS mirrors may be handy if you plan a Lab build like BBs.
enjoy!!!

Yes USPS flat rate boxes work for international shipping. There is just lower weight limits and they cost more, but it's still usually cheaper than trying to do a normal express mail package.
USPS flat rate is pretty much the cheapest way to ship internationally and have tracking. Your only other option that's cheaper is a first class mail parcel. But there is zero tracking options with that.
Tracking.? How.? I was told you can not get tracking international unless you ship Express mail.
Priority mail i cannot get tracking on this where iam at.
How do you get tracking on priority mail.?
PS. I don't ship using On-line labeling and stuff. I do it by hand.
You have to physically go to the post office and request your priority mail package be "registered" to get tracking, it also provides some insurance coverage I believe. Not very cheap, starts at like $10.50 per package, which almost makes EMS mail a better choice for only a few more dollars. I print my labels at home so that's not an option, on EMS comes with tracking that way. When printing out your own international priority mail labels they give you what's called a "tracking" number but it's really just a customs number that no one scans for us. These usually being with the letters LJ, the only thing I ever see updated is the post office "acceptance" of the parcel, so you can at least prove you shipped it.
Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up, Clip.
I was always told I could not get a tracking # for priority packages going international.
However, I print my postage...
Funny story about the "LJ" customs codes;
I ordered some components from Moh earlier this week.
USPS sent me a notification saying that it was an "international package" and it had a "LJ" code.
I'm interested to see where it goes....
Perhaps someone out there will get a free laser surprise package in the mail from Moh :san:
Hopefully it was just some freak error or something.
Hey that's nice work! I grabbed one of those Fuji plano-concave lenses but didn't have any convex lenses with a shorter focal length except that one lens on the long brass holder in that Mi-Lasers kit that I had to turn sideways. It seemed to work, but not great. The results you have are pretty good.
Can you measure how much loss you get right after the concave, and then after the convex? I was hesitant to get one of those convex ones because it states that it is uncoated. A coated one might give you an extra 5% or so.
Also, how far from the aperture is that beam spot? Is that like 40ft?
On another note, I wish I didn't have to "spread around" rep before giving more to the people I want to.
Looks nice too!
How did you determine the proper distance between the two lenses? Just by experimentation, or did you manage to calculate the distance vs beam reduction?
Theoretically:
The MI optics from the OP have something like 4x magnification and a subsequent 75% reduction in divergence.
The Dr. Lava lenses have a 3x magnification and a subsequent 66% reduction in divergence.
You should be getting 1.3x magnification and a subsequent 23% reduction in divergence.
