Increasing Current on Argon Laser

yeah I have the part number. I'll post it tomorrow for sure, but tonight I just got back from camping and I'm sun-burnt and I'm going to bed :p

I can wait all month if needed :D I'm patient, again thanks for the help :D

The big plug is part number 206150-1.

The extra female pins for that plus are part number 66103-3

Both part numbers can be found on mouser.com

:D:D

Just wondering, does the big plug come with pins on the other side? And what are the extra female pins for?

The plug comes without any pins/sockets. You install the pins you need. Many different applications use the same plug, but require different pin usage. Usually when you look at the cord or at the PSU/laser you will see that not all of the pin locations have pins in them.

You attach your wire and then push the pin into the plug at the required locations.

You need to order the plug AND the number of pins (minimum) that your particular application will require. I recommend buying a few extra.

Peace,
dave

I ordered the pins and the plug. However, I removed a jumper from pins 12-13 that allows me to use the pot on the front. Can anyone show me a diagram of where those pins are?

When you get the plug, the rows of pins will be numbered.

Peace,
dave
