Love my black dominator. Mine is aluminium and still has a three min duty cycle. Copper should do 5 min!

The Dominator laser can now be outfitted with a multimode driver. The modes are 100% / 50% / 10% and flashing. The single maximum output is still available.

Seems I always get a type of laser before there's a great deal on them, just my luck. the multiple modes are tempting but I don't like clicking through all of them to turn it off. if there were a way to make the controls seperate, power level selector and an on/off button, that would be SWEET

Its to my understanding that you don't have to switch through all the modes to turn it off. To switch modes you just need a momentary on/off. So if you want to turn it off just hit the clicky once, but if you want to switch to the next mode, you double click it.

You don't even have to click. Just bump the switch and the modes change

And no, it doesn't need to cycle to turn off.

I have a four mode just like this. The switch doesn't have to "click" just quickly press it without going far enough to click it and it will switch modes. Rick trends lasers use a four mode drive too. Just click to turn on, then you can cycle modes by just quickly pressing the switch without clicking. Maybe 3/4 push of it. Much easier than clicking, and I would imagine easier on the switch itself

Oh really? Hmm that's interesting. Do you know if these drivers have memory? Like do they turn on in the last setting you had them in or does it always start up full power?

They do. But if a certain amount of time passes they go back to full power. If you turn off then back on quick, it will cycle. And if after about say five seconds, it will reset to high mode. But if the five seconds (or so) hasn't passed it will go to the next setting.

got my dominator sent in 2 parcels, received the head over a week ago and it was about 530g that's without lens and focus adapter WHOA!, the other half better turn up in the next 3 days b4 Xmas or il be blaming Santa and sending a dirty letter to Santa Claus,
