Im completly new to building, Help!

I've never built a laser before but id really like to, i want to build one thats either green or blue, and at least 200+mw

Can someone please help me cause i dont even know where to start

diode+driver+power supply=basic laser

you may also need a test load i you dont know how to make your own. if you want a cheap driver search the forum for a DDL driver as well as how to make your own test loads.

once you get that done you can find a host to put it in

need a lense too lol. and hence a module to put the diode and lense in. heatsink will be important for 200mW+. do some searching, theres plenty of info about.

also if you want a truely diy you will not be able to do green. go to the green section and read the stickies to find out why.
