Welcome back. There are some new yellow DPSS lab lasers available in 565nm and 575nm from Opt Lasers in China. I believe they are now selling for $50.00 plus shipping, but are currently out of stock. The 575nm one is pure yellow while the 565nm one has some green in it. There are still no direct diodes in yellow available to us, so these are the only new ones. I have one in my signature that cost me a total of $60.00.
Welcome back, Blackwolf! :yh:
Take a look through DTR's store, and you'll see quite a few new diodes and wavelengths, and all of them will be saying "buy me".
@Alaskan, yep, it's been a busy week regarding returning members, I think we've had 4 come back, if you include Marco Polo who comes and go's
I have reached out to several MIA's by PM as well as a +12KBAM to their rep-- those get attention.
PMing absent members takes very little time and I have gotten nice replies-- some want to come back or have.. some still need time away from LPF-
I like to think it has evolved lately and became more friendly.. more fun- learning new stuff all the time.
Past drama in the forum and neg repping abuse miffed off a fairly new member who started giving out reps to everyone he could to raise all boats, it worked, took two years of giving out ten reps a day, every day, but with everyone having more reps to give out and others who began to do the same thing, now we are megga rep land. We are just having fun with it now, trying to max the system out.
I have 'looked up' the First post/thread of many members-- active- MIA or gone..
Pradipta got some welcome to his intro- safe-use advice etc and a suggestion about NOT going big on your first (ish)
handheld. I will quote him-brb
This is actually his second thread..#1 was asking about$$$$$ 1W 532 from BOBLASERS

As a suggestion, start off with lower powered lasers (<50mW, <100mW) before you move
up to the big guns.
Pradipta's reply:
yeah sure, i'll do that
except for starting with low powered lasers
hahaha ^^^^ I bet that is what 90% 'think' when we advise them to start low power.. HE just had the stones to post it. (hope he passed on 1W of BOBLaser-)
