I made this little tutorial about attaching wire to the C6 host. Regularly people is asking how to do it. I think it is a solid mechanical and electrical connection between the driver and the host.

I start with the negative wire first. Get a small metal ring or something and solder it to the wire

So that is finish, the easy part :D

Get a wide round bolt and cut it. I use a dremel for this.

Solder a wire to it.

That is a rubber seal from the plumper. I cut a small dent inside.

Fill the hole with glue or silicon paste.

Put it all together.

Nice and easy. I hope you like it ! :gj:

So what dose the star washer just float around in there ? how do you get it to make a good ground ?

The star washer is sitting between the pill and the black rubber thing. When you put a 18650 battery in it is pressed against the pill by the pressure on the bolt. Thus making it a good electrical contact.
You can try solder the green wire directly to the aluminum pill but that can be hard or nearly impossible.

Yes I don't mess around with trying to solder to aluminum, it can be done but requires a lot of heat and special solder.

Nice Blord!!!

FP - I was always under the impression that solder cannot be bonded directly to aluminum (?)
