When I measure distance between expanding lens and point where beam is 5mm wide, that is the correct focal length of double convex lens that I need for 5mm wide beam.
As simple as that. That is all what I'm doing.
This part of green module can work as additional "beam expander" for another green module.
I tried to put this part of module in front of my O-like 150mW....and I managed to achieve amazing divergence. But it's difficult to put it in right position because beam from laser pointer must go through small expanding lens. If I could find bigger expanding lens it would be great as cheap beam expander
I'll try that with two double convex lenses, but I don't have any working green module at this moment.
