I hope none of you guys will get offended by calling you freaks. But I am also one of them  .
Here I'll start first. I am 16 years old.
I just want to know how old are poeple who are interested in lasers. I hope I am not the only young one..

well if we banned everyone under 18, we would have to ban 25% of LPF. which would be bad for advertisement profit, and sells/donations :)

I could care less about profit. I'm more worried about immature kids getting their hands on high powered lasers.

Well, you see people in their early 20's shining lasers at cars in youtube videos...

A 16 year old could be more safety concerned the someone 5 years older then them.

Yeah, yeah, I hear this all the time. Note the word "immature" in my last post. Unfortunately there are far more immature teenagers than 20 somethings. There is nothing that can substitute experience, and you can only get experience from time.

I think being 17 is close enough ;)
And I know must people wont believe me, but I am a very responsible laser user. When I use my laser around others, I force the people who arent using my goggles to turn around and look away until im done. Then they take turns looking at the laser through my safety glasses.
I always check the sky to make sure I'm not hitting it at planes.
And I without a doubt would never shoot it a people who are driving. People who do that are ridiculous.

There is a kid in my study hall who brought a green laser pointer. It seemed to be over 5mW because it was extremely bright and didn't look like a cheap green laser. Anyway, he was shining it around study hall and the teacher didn't even notice. If I will be able to, I want to steal it and never give it back. If I told the teacher, they would take it, then give it back at the end of the day...
I don't trust him with it. Which is why I would rather steal it from him... I know thats a bad thing to do, but uses it like a complete dumb**s.

That kind of stuff really makes me angry! :gun::gun:
