Haha.. Honestly.. probably about 5 bucks.

I'm still new to lasers.. and the parts for a laser aren't exactly cheap for teens :'(

I've probably spent over $7000 on lasers and related items since I started messing around with them.. It's really easy to lose count. Nothing will empty your wallet faster than this hobby, except maybe a bad cocaine habit.

If I add everything up - lasers, optics, related stuff - based on what I paid - I'd say at least $3K worth.

I just totaled up the money I've spent since September on online purchases. Mostly, this stuff was for lasers, but I also bought a few other tools. Anyways, I've spent $472.80 since September, which is when I started getting interested in laser stuff. Compared to my previous hobby (software development), this one is remarkably more expensive.

As a college student with exorbitantly high tuition bills, though, I am quite limited by free cash flow.

Didn't you say you were 18?! How...?!

Okay, maybe that was sarcasm that I was remembering as fact. But still.

The lasers are all used. A new argon laser might go for $10,000 or more new, but you can find them used on ebay for like $400.
