I bought a cheap green laser from QQ-Tech and I'd like to open up the host. The host looks like this
When I turn the laser on, it does nothing, I have to cuddle it and warm it up before it will produce a green dot, after it warms up and produces the dot, it will only do so for a short while, then it gets dim and will only produce a dim red light inside the host until I let it rest a while..
I tested the batteries with my multimeter and they are fully charged, good on both volts and amps, they also work great in my 405nm and 650nm
I'd like to pot mod this to a lower power to see if it comes on any better, and then a higher power if not.
can anyone suggest a way to open this host? (safely, no saws or sledge hammers) :thanks:
