I'm curently looking to expand my inventory and offer another laser module to LPF members at a discounted price shipped right here in the US from michigan.
My question is, is there anyone out there that would be interested in purchasing 800mw 445nm laser modules they are a 12mm body with a small thinner heat sink already attached to the base of the body near the driver board.
They operate on 7-7.5v
I was thinking I would go with the 800mw 445nm being the best bang for the buck, compaired to 600 and 700mw modules lowering the price only $10 per 100mw differance.
Price to LPF member would be around $150-155 with free shipping to anyone in the US and LPM data sheets would be provided with each module sold test done on a laserbee IX.
There would be no long wait for over sea modules I ship within two days normaly 1 day.
The final price is still up in the air as of now $155 is looking to be the price if I get enough interest and I can make a larger order I may be able to sell them for $150 if I can find enoug people to buy them on a regular basis prices will only get better id like to be able to offer them at $145 each if people continue to order them and sales increase.
So please if anyone would be interested in these modules or think it would be a good item to add here to my inventory for sales and a good bang for the buck deal please speak up and post your opinion here.
I have looked around the forum a little and don't see any one offering any new 800mw 445nm modules, these would be ready to ship and at your door in no time :)
I'm not sure if my asking price is a good deal this is why I'm asking before purchasing, but looking online and ebay these module go for $170 to $200 some not even including shipping or LPM log sheets proving its out put so I hope that my offering price will be a good buy for you LPF members as from what I have seen this sounds like a great deal but only you can tell me.

Thanks in advance I apreciate any insite you can give me ASAP as I will be making my order for my 150-200mw green modules very shortly and those were flying off the shelf. At $60 each with free shipping.
I need to know if I should buy a couple of these 800mw 445nm to give a test run and see how they sell and what buyers think of them or if this just is not a good deal and I should forget about buying them and search for something else.
PS: If there are any other modules you think would be good for me to keep in stock for sale let me know there wavelenth and there out put power as I may be able to also offer them to you at a good price and keep them in stock.
Thanks again :)

Doing a good search I cam up with this, it appears to be the same module I would have to offer but at a lower price of course :) do you know anything about these?

Yes this is what I'm worried about as I know many people are building 445's hiting 1.5+ watts without any problems and for a decent price but these are a complete build your own from the start project and not every one wants to or knows how to do this, my module comes ready to fire up with a driver and all focused and ready to burn and be put into a housing with minimul work needed or whatever else there needs are and I am offering it to the people who are posibly looking to just have a high powered laser ready to go and easier to build for smaller projects and not start a house fire from 50' away lol.
What other laser besides the 532nm 150-200mw 3v modules I'm already selling would you recomend I add to my stock and offer to LPF members as the modules I get every one seems more than happy with and the prices are very competative too, and having them shipped in and from the US is always a huge bonus and easier to deal with for customer service in the avent there is a problem to arise, no long wait for over seas shipping or possibly getting ripped off on your order :) I'm interested in any ideas you have to expand my inventory, I can get 500mw green modules but they do not focus without there housing so I'm not to sure how that would sell being a module only and not many people would want to buy an already assembled 500mw green pointer as I won't be able to offer it much cheaper than regular prices out there on the net.
Thanks for the insite and quick responce I hope you have some more idea for me :)

Sometimes price isnt the issue, but power is! people here sell their 1W~1.3W lasers in b/s/t at less than that price most of the time because they can build 2Watters with a fraction of additional cost.
Also DTR sells the laser diodes with leads attached and a dual flexdrive set-up at desired current which still costs less than your module and the characteristic which is more desirable is that they run on single lithium battery (3.7V~4.2V).
Another cheap way and best one imo, Moh sells Just add diode kits for $30 and DTR's diode is $45(without leads leads) and power is 1.5+ W so it still beats the module under consideration by twice the power at half the price. Which is A LOT in the comparison in the 800mW module in question.

If you can change your linear driver(as i suppose) with a decent boost driver and add this module to a host and sell it as a laser u might get close to what you are looking for, but it wont be a hit anyways!! Because it would need some review and proper testing/durability etc.
Otherwise at this much power output its not really a great addition , i would rather add cheaper green modules 3V still able to put out 200mW or higher at competitive prices!!
Good luck with your green ones , that would be a cool addition.

Not trying to rain on your parade but, Your going to need pictures of your work before any one here will be interested.

They may go for $170.00 on fleabay but this isn't fleabay and most people here can assemble there own modules and for about 1/2 your price and that would be for, a diode a Groove2 driver a Aixiz module and a Aixiz glass lens and shipping, so good luck selling them here at that price, maybe if your price was a little more competitive you would stand a better chance, just my humble opinion.

Yeah the greens fly off the shelf I can't keep them stocked, I think ill join the group and start building my own custom 445 lasers, once I get a few done and have some friends play around with them ill offer them on here. I just need something more to keep busy and possibly make a $1 where available. Looks like ill have to get out my creative side and start building up something. That's always fun :)
Thanks again for your insite it has been more than helpfull I'm looking more into the diodes now, I was aware a couple years ago but the power just keep increasing and yes 3.7v operation is a huge bonus. I can't wait for a 5w+ hand held.

You really need to get in touch with this forum if you need to post or start a thread of your own. The reason is that this just adds up to the material and posting replies on a useless thread just keeps on stacking useless information that should be read in order to learn about its uselessness! hope you understand and will contribute to the community just as much as we all like to do. thanks and good luck with your stuff , we would really like to see the creative sides of creative people!!

Thanks every one this is why i was asking if there was interest as these modules yes can be assembled for half the price and twice the power but not everyone can do this nor wants to do this. Im just looking for some thing more i can add to my inventory to offer LPF members at a possibly lower rate and same or better quality. I know there would be more information needed to sell the module if it came time to this but i wanted to test the waters and see what people thought about the price and the laser module it self. I would rather ask people if there interested than buy a $1000 in product to then post an add only to find out that i can not sell them cheaper than what i paid for them, it would be a big waste of time and money so i thought this would be a better first option/step in adding another laser module to my selling inventory. I understand your opinions and concerns, next time i wont waste the space on here to ask these questions and try to see if people are possibly interested in some sales i can offer with what i have available to me, cheaper than retail prices and cheaper than most bulk buy prices you will see, im only trying to share with you and every one else what i have available to offer, as not every one has available or can get some of the prices i can get on some laser items, just the same as many others on here we all work together and need each other, most every one has something to offer one way or another and we all like to save money.
Again i apologies for any wrong i have done with starting a thread to ask these questions, but i remember reading in a sticky about testing the waters for group buys and alike to see if you could get enough people interested to make it worth the time and effort to purchase an item and offer it for sale and that is what i was fallowing on.
Thanks again for your incite.

Any member of this Forum can post what he wants as long as
he does not violate the TOU (Forum Rules)...
And since this Thread was in a proper section and relates to
Lasers I see no reason to not post it here.

You were merely putting out a feeler for a potential Source of
455nm Laser Modules.

I don't see this Thread as being useless at all....

You touched on the fact that some people don't want to build their own from scratch, but I think you may have missed the core of what Sinner was trying to point you to. DTR sells 1W 445nm Blue Laser Module W/Flexdrive & Three Element Glass Lens for Blue which is a complete "module". It's basically what you're selling, but with a better driver, and more output power, for $99.
https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes/445-m140-didoes

At $150 for an 800mW module, you wouldn't sell a single one here. At $99 for the same thing, you probably still wouldn't.

You'd have to be selling your module for enough less than DTR's $99 package, that people would be willing to go for a linear driver instead of a boost driver, a non-standard lens, and a Chinese-made module, instead of one assembled in the US with a driver made in the US.

Yes I did look into those diodes he had to offer and realized before this post that these options are out there as they have been for a few years now, that is why I asked before I bought them as with the green modules I sell I know I have a good product and a good price to offer and those I did not need to ask anyone if they would sell I simply purchased them and posted the listing, the 405 and 445nm modules are a completly differant ball game I myself own a home made 445nm 600mw.
Laserbee thanks, feeler that was the word I was trying to think of, see I read these things and try to follow the forum rules and read the notes/stickies and follow those as well as I stated above as this is what I have been asked to do in the past when I have done things wrong without knowing any better or posting in the wrong section, now that I have been around for a couple years I am starting to figure things out and figured this was one of the two places I could post this question and figured this place would get the most attention I was looking for.
But as my origional thought of this not going to be a good modules to offer at the price I can afford to sell them at I was correct but just wanted to hear what others had to say as I'm looking to expand what I have to offer.
I just like to keep things happy here no reason to argue over spilt milk so I just let it be.
Thanks again laserbee can't wait to get the other LPM
Thank you everyone else for your insite I have got what I needed from my question now. I apreciate the lead to the high powered diodes I think I may start a new build with one of them they seem very popular and with a great price ::cheers:: :)

It's nexbox..the kid who thinks he is the greatest vendor here with his hyped up yip yap. If I were you I would get a real job, and stop trying to live out some phony laser pushing dream since you acquired your amazing middleman. You're hype, you had crap with no support but excuses, lies, no communication then and I'm sure you haven't changed much.

What's that Eminem line? Oh yeah, "SNAP BACK TO REALITY!"

You have got to be kidding.

Who the hell will spend $150 for last year's A130-class diodes, with some standard-fare linear or buck driver? That pricing would've been bad even when 445nm laser diodes first came available from the projectors. Go pander that shit to morons.

@nexbox360, I bought a 532 module from you, had it in about 3 days and it exceeded my expectations. However, the previous posters are correct, $160 for 800 mW cannot compete with what's already available, and from a highly reputable source at that. You should probably stick to selling the green modules, they seem to be good quality overall.

Yeah you prolly should have done a little more research before posting this.

Its yesterdays overpriced cheap Chinese crap. I'd stick with selling green modules, and do some reading here to keep you up with todays tech. Because this makes you look like a n00b.

$160 is just nuts.

I feel guilty charging $103 for this:
1,250mW (TESTED) 1.25W - Blue Laser Diode Module - 445nm Diode+Driver+Lens | eBay

Mostly, because I know that DTR's $105 diode+flex bundle here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1W-445nm-Bl...878?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c3d8d0be
is a better deal!

But wow, I'm going to stop feeling guilty if this guy is actually asking $160 for 800mW.
