I said that it's about posting links or articles probably since if it'd be because of cuss words the admin would've used the cuss filter on vB.

I'm not introducing myself, I simply said it to apology incase it's the wrong section. However the point of this thread is to ask 4 questions about laser pointers, which everyone seemed to ignore so far.

Why would I change my attitude towards someone who comes here to bluntly flame me without comprehending my posts?

I am open and nice to the people who want to have a good debate or are willing to (or can) comprehend my posts before trying to flame me.

I can be an asshole to laserbee but nice to someone else. It all depends what foot we start on.

Do you know why? Because I give a damned shit about how respected he is. He still came invading my thread. After I explained him that I already read many stickies, FAQs, and rules, he still tells me "Search button and stickies" and we go into a never-ending-flamewar about that. Fine if he wants me to read a sticky where the answer for my question is, I will happily. But he doesn't even link me or tells me the name, and above of all, I already told him I read the damn sticky and that it doesn't answer my question!

So in all honesty, why should I respect a guy like that?.

No. If someone tells you to go read something you have already read and the answer is not there, you don't go to read it again. You tell him the answer is not there and expect another source. Not the same one over and over.

2.) Some Veterns here are really starting to get on my nerves. They bash noobs on their very first post and then expect that noob to talk back to them with respect. Then they start a whole fiasco over the whole deal, when in reality it was their fault to begin with. Me personally, I could care less how much that person has contributed to the forum. If he or she treats someone like an ass...don't expect any less in return. (this comment will likely get me some negative rep.....truth hurts though)

3.) This is a big comunity and some of us do clash...as you can see from the "should we ban" Threads.....Granted, some of those threads are entirely needed so that people don't get screwed over by certain shop owners.

I understood what you said exactly and this is my reply. I do not mind being disrespected by a 90% of this forum for being an ass to the respected around here. As long as the reasoning 10% respects me I'm good.

Point 3) really brought this up to me.
Years ago scientists were a minority and got killed everytime they spoke. But they were right.
This forum responds too much to the church (veterans) and have their ideas enclosed. On any other forum the majority would claim me to be right. In this very same forum, if the argument was happening with another newcomer, they would claim me to be right. I'm only being lolflamed because I go against everyone's beliefs and flow.

@above: I only said that because the guy didn't put much input into his post... I didn't put much into mine either lol.
