Hello LPF

Hi, I'm a newcomer! I'm an student which got interested in lasers in his physics classes, and now is learning more and more about the topic.

I've ordered a 100 mW green laser pointer from Sanwu (which I feel is too powerful for a starter, I'll be careful) and if all goes right I'll have my first experience with lasers before this month ends :drool:

Finally: I prefer lurking, and more when I'm new to a topic, so even if I don't appear in a thread, chances are I'll read it sooner or later

Welcome! Be careful around 100mW of laser light. It may not be as strong as some 2W monsters but it’ll still do immediate damage!

Better than some people that seem to think starting out at 5W is a good idea...
