As for the jayrob laser, you can either get a "non-hot option" and buy your own diode or you can get him to ship the laser disassembled in 2 seperate packages.

Awesome so if the laser is shipped in 2 seperate packages customs can't seize it correct you would know best seeing you have quite a few and your in australia !
 
Yes, basically as long as it's not a fully built laser I don't think customs will touch it. Yes there are a couple of us :).

Getting lasers into Australia is kind of like Russian roulette.. But recently it's been like 1 full chamber and 99 empty..

Thanks for all the welcomes guys much appreciated i've made my first purchase from jayrob "Large Maglite Monster Kits" hoping i don't run into any trouble having it sent here

He did say his shipped to australia fine before because when he sends it has no diode so fingers crossed :D
 
Mate, no diode no problems. If there isn't a light emitting device it technically isn't a laser.

Thanks for the re-asurance tonyt !! yeah i made sure no diode ordered it seperatly from DHT ebay store i believe

Can't wait to put it all together :D
