Hi everyone..... Could use some help. Looking to get a laser that will go thru 1/2 in glass and not damage the glass and go 1' to 2' deep down into saltwater tank. Need to melt some unwanted stuff attached to some live rock. Trying to not have to remove the rock and coral from tank. Not sure where to buy. Thank you.

If you do get a Laser or already have one be sure
to get appropriate Laser Safety Goggles/Glasses...

Due to the water's natural heat sinking I don't think
you will be able to melt stuff attached to some live
rock... Unless perhaps you get quite a High output
industrial Laser.

It would no doubt be cheaper to do the cleaning by hand...

Enjoy your stay...

I did tons of research about saltwater tanks, maybe I can help you out. First of all, do you have a good CUC? If so, what does it contain, and how large is your tank? Is it an invert safe tank? How long have you had it? Are we talking algae? or a plant that came with the LR/LS? Some details might help me help you without you shining a 1W+ laser into your tank.

Puyallup is my old stomping ground. Good luck on your saltwater tank project. Can't help you there.

Thank you guys. I have a 180gal. It's 6ft long, 2ft deep, 2ft wide. Mixed fish and inverted. It's a fast spreading pest Anemone ( aptasia ). The live rock is to porous to scrub. Seen a video on utube. Have tryed several things to get rid of them. Lemon juice, vinegar ect etc. No luck. Sorry Gota get ready for work. Will try and post a pic of tank. Ciao

Reading something new today and found. NEVER LOOK AT POINT OF IMPACT. Something to take to bed. One thing at a time.

You're in Puyallup? Cool, I grew up and lived most of my life in Tacoma! Don't live there anymore, though...wish I still did.

I REALLY miss the Puyallup Fair!
