Re: Laser pointer leather shirt

That is interesting, Ben. I cannot get how someone nowadays could be intolerant to different s3xual orientation to the level of violence. I understand someone might be intolerant, but I cannot get the violence part. Especially based only on some similar symbol (which might be unrelated in meaning). It reminds me how there are efforts to replace swastika symbols on maps for indian temples for example, just because this symbol was stolen and used later in history for some bad ideology. It might be perceived even illegal in some countries to use it, even if it is slightly different and completely different in meaning. All it is just because it was misused and original meaning was beaten in people minds.

Re: Laser pointer leather shirt

The violence comes from immigrants, which we have numerous of. They will assault people openly displaying being gay.

The native dutch people might disapprove in some parts of the population (such as the strictly religious christains) but never resort to violence, and probably not even to verbal abuse or anything like that.

If you were to travel to western europe, countries like the netherlands, germany, france, or the uk, there is, however, a realistic risk of being attacked on the steets for homo***ualty. Not by the native people of these countries, but by the immigrants.

Legally homo***uals are protected from discrimination by our constitution, and have equal rights including marriage to anyone else.

As for using the swatsika as a religous symbol: I fully agree that it is one, and have seen many on my travels in asia. The symbol is very common, but often is a bit different from the nazi flag: Usually the rotation is such that the core lines form a + rather than an X, some dots are added, and sometimes it is mirrored as well.

In some occasions you will find it "nazi-style" though, rotated 45 degrees and clockwse, in things like temple walls. I've seen them in thailand, nepal, tibet, indonesia and laos. To westeners that might be upsetting a bit, but the meaning behind it has nothing to do with extreme right, and many of the buildings displaying them far precede the nazi movement by millenia.

How about doing a leather LPF or Laser Motorcycle jacket?

Maybe just make an apply leather logos , laser warning symbols of whatever colours, and maybe LPF badges to an existing motorcycle jacket that a member wanting same could UPS to you to make and apply??

That is possible, I would make a vest or light jacket with your logo. I can get many different textures and colors.

Re: Laser pointer leather shirt

I think the US might be okay in that regard really. The advantage is that you do not have any land borders with musim countries, with just canada in the north and mexico down south.

The EU is not that well off though, since there are passable land borders and shores conneting europe to afrika and the middle east.

And we do have a massive problem there: first of all millions of migrants that put a toll on all public systems, but also a fairly easy route for "people" like suicide bombers to attack.

I'm not a fan of the trump administration, but i think they got that part right: if you don't let them in they will not cause problems.

Re: Laser pointer leather shirt

LGBT propaganda symbol,

Pardon? :tsk:

The sad reality is that in europe there is quite a bit of violence towards (suspected) homo***uals, mostly coming from immigrants. I live in holland and the dutch population is generally quite tolerant towards it, and even those who are not would never resort to physical violence. By now, however, about 20% of the population are not native dutch, and many of them aren't as tolerant.

Same problem in the UK; but Brexit is our trump card (pun not intended) - and not before time, IMO. Onwards and upwards, even better if we leave the single market. Undemocratic lefty morons are already talking about how the process "has not started yet" and that it could be interrupted. What I want to say to those people does not bear repeating :gun:

The UK has the benefit of essentially being an island, and also retaining it's own currency, which makes leaving the eurozone a lot easier.

Technically there is the land border between ireland and northern ireland, but that's not that big of a border to defend, and there could be a second layer of defense for any traffic between northern ireland and uk mainland.

For countries like our netherlands this would be far more difficult to control as there are numerous roads connecting to germany and belgium: border crossings used continously for legitimate traffic, also large amounts of cargo being moved from rotterdam harbour to all of continental europe. Before the migration crisis this worked out well, but nowadays we get refugees that got on the wrong bus/train and end up in the netherlands while they were aiming at germany or the uk.

With german and dutch city names being easily mistaken for eachother this is understandable, yet results in problems we do not need at the moment.

Re: Laser pointer leather shirt

I just wanted to show some leather clothing and what I can make. Can we open another thread for politics. Granted the LGBT flag does stir things up. How can I move all of these to the new thread so it doesn't clutter this one? I plan to post some more items as they are completed.

Oh heck, I just noticed that yamaha is a 2 stroke, do you ride that one?
