Groove anodizing Poll everyone vote plz.

Essentially what I'm wanting here is to get a general idea of which color folks want thier barrels anodized.  I am NOT going to get 2 different colors this go and have to deal with 300 emails trying to sort everything out.  So, we will get a general consensus of what color to go with and that is the color we will use.

Below is a picture of "essentially" what the two colors will potentially look like.  Since every metal anodizes differently it may vary a little bit.

I'm not actually ordering one of those barrels, so this is more of a general opinion rather than which one you should chose.

But I reckon the black one looks the coolest. Black lasers, very cool

I guess nobody so far shares my love for the shiney laser. After all, we like lasers cause they are bright and colorful. well the barrel can be shiney tooooooooo. I honestly don't care as I'll still be leaving a few unanodized as well but this is a choice for those that do.

Well...we only have two choices! (plus we've already got the silver ones from the 1st run) If I had a choice of any color I wanted, I would pick my favorite color...Blue:

Since I didn't say much in my post I'll explain more here. [Though I talked to you some already Kenom] I guess people just want that more "custom" look to it and if it's just a plain metal color it doesn't seem as "bad ass". And with the black you can probably see some variations in the metal and it should give it an awesome effect if it turns out nicely. But LPF, don't let me completely speak for you! Come in here and vote more!

I'm thinking I'd go with black... it'll look nice, plus it's functional! Black heatsinks dissipate heat better than plain. I have some idea of why that would be (the color black is more transmissive for heat or something), but I just got that from my DIY audio experience (www.DIYaudio.com), where the "best" heatsink were those that were anodized black. Don't flame me if you think this is complete bull$h!t, I just thought I'd mention it.

You do have a point in black being better at heatsinking. So far that seems to be the norm and if it continues to be that way, that is what will happen. I'm impartial since these really aren't for me,but for you.

I dont plan on buying one until I manage to get money for a blu-ray after I buy my rpl , but I think the clear on is nicest .
